Anxiety can present itself in many different ways, your experience of anxiety will most likely be completely different to another persons. That feeling of worry, fear, or dread which can be mild or severe. You may not even be able to explain the feeling, but you know it is there.

Anxiety affects us physiologically too. It can make our heart beat faster, we might feel breathless, sweaty, shaky or our stomach may feel like its turning over. Anxiety can trigger sudden changes in our behaviour or mood, and it can make us  over cautious, and can cause us to avoid situations altogether.

Anxiety is problematic when our concerns spin out of control, or when the problem appears magnified with-in relatively harmless situations. Anxiety can be overwhelming, interfering with our daily life and relationships.
Anxiety is part of our Flight or Fright response where we need to respond to imminent physical danger, such as a snarling dog, or a psychological threat such as making a speech at that special function. Sometimes this Flight or Fright response is not accurate, for example when the threat is an imaginary one.

Hypnosis can be a valuable tool to help you achieve a balance. As an integrative therapist I offer NLP coaching sessions, and Thought Field Therapy as additional ways to tailor a programme for you.

What is Hypnosis?

We naturally and effortlessly drift through numerous different mind-states through-out the day. Losing concentration, focusing our attention elsewhere, listening to our internal thoughts, and being absorbed in our own feelings, might also be referred to as daydreaming. Our perception of time may have become distorted whilst shopping/on the golf course/driving, which is often a result of being in deep mental absorption or light trance. We can all appreciate a time when we became lost in our own thoughts. Whilst we’ve no doubt, all been aware of these experiences, we may not have related them to self-hypnosis or light trances.

You drift through the hypnotic state each time you go to sleep, which repeats when you awaken again. Within my sessions, we bring about these naturally occurring trance states to focus on that unwanted issue, that annoying habit or problem that you wish to deal with for once and for all.

About Me

My name is Jeanette Creasey GQHP MNCP, I’m a qualified hypnotherapist, NLP Master Practitioner, registered with the  GHSC (General Hypnotherapy Standards Council) the NCP (National Council of Psychotherapists) CNHC (Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council). Im also a registered on the Central Register of Smoking Cessation Therapists. (CRSST).

I chose to learn from the best, which meant attending Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) training with the co-creator Dr Richard Bandler, it was at this time that  I discovered the power of hypnosis. Initially I believed that hypnotherapy had a limited use for treatments such as snake/spider phobias, or with addictions such as smoking, or to help with weight control. I soon became aware that hypnosis can quickly and effectively alleviate or help with many other conditions too.
Hypnosis can help Anxiety and Depression. Many people coping alone with anxiety believe “they have no alternative but to put up with it.” I have clients who once believed this too! After becoming an NLP Master Practitioner I studied at East Anglian Institute of Hypnotherapy (EAIH) it was there that I qualified as a hypnotherapist, intergrating NLP with hypnosis.
